Reed, Laing, Willoughby Tabbed All-Ivy Selections

PRINCETON, N.J. –
Rookie Lindsay Reed, along with teammates senior Lexie Laing and rookie Kyra Willoughby have been selected as All-Ivy honorees for the 2018-19 season. Reed earned First Team All-Ivy recognition while Laing and Willoughby were honorable mentions. The Crimson finished third in the league with a 4-3-3 record, behind Cornell and Princeton. 

During her collegiate debut season, Reed secured her spot as the Crimson's starting netminder, appearing in 27 of 32 games. In seven Ivy League contests, Reed maintained a .932 save percentage and 2.40 goals against average with a 3-2-2 record. For much of the season, Reed stood at the top of NCAA Division I goaltenders in both statistical categories. 

Laing laced up her sates for all 10 Ivy League matchups during her senior season, totaling 10 points on three goals and seven assists. Overall, Laing led the Crimson with 26 points on eight goals and 18 assists. 

Willoughby also appeared in all 10 Ivy contests during her debut season. The defenseman contributed three points on one goal and two assists, her first collegiate score coming against Brown in late February. Overall, Willougby totaled nine points this season, adding six assists outside of Ivy League action. 

Harvard finished the 2018-19 season 12-15-5 overall and 9-9-4 in ECAC Hockey. The Crimson made its second consecutive trip to the playoffs.
