LAKE PLACID, N.Y. – The Under-22 Series, a three-game tournament held annually between Canada and the United States, concluded Aug. 17 at Herb Brooks Arena in Lake Placid, N.Y. Team USA won the series by defeating Canada in two out of three games. The Crimson's own Dominique Petrie was one of the 22 collegiate players named to the roster. The rising sophomore was invited to the 2019 USA Hockey Women's National Festival in early August before being named to the U-22 Select Team roster. Petrie captained the U-18 Select Team in 2018 at the U-18 Series in Calgary.

Petrie and Team USA defeated Canada 4-3 and 4-2 in the first two games of the series with Petrie picking up an assist on Natalie Snodgrass' goal which gave Team USA a 2-1 lead in the second game. In the final matchup, the forward fired two shots on goal.

The Hermosa Beach, Calif. native had 15 points last season, including nine goals, and ranked tied for second on the team with two game-winning goals. Petrie also captained Team USA to a silver medal at the 2019 IIHF Under-18 Women's World Championships and earned an ECAC All-Academic Team honor.

Petrie and the Crimson will be back in action Oct. 11 in an exhibition game against McGill. All home and conference games will be broadcast on ESPN+.
