ALBANY, N.Y. – The Harvard women's hockey team has been selected fifth in the ECAC Hockey Preseason Coaches' Poll, as announced by the league today (Sept. 10). The Crimson garnered 75 points, close behind fourth ranked Colgate. Perennial powerhouses Clarkson, Princeton and Cornell were voted to be the top three finishers respectively.

In addition to overall team ranking, rising sophomore Lindsay Reed was voted Preseason All-League Goaltender by conference coaches. Last season, Reed led the conference and the nation for a majority of the season in save percentage and was named the Bertagna Award winner at the 2019 Beanpot tournament, recognizing the tournament's top netminder.

Harvard opens the season on Oct. 11 with its annual exhibition contest against McGill. Both the regular season and conference action begins on Oct. 25 when the Crimson travels to Dartmouth.
