Women’s Hockey Resumes Conference Play at Yale, Brown

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard women's hockey team (5-4-0, 5-0-0 ECAC Hockey) will resume conference play this coming weekend at Yale (6-5-0, 3-3-0 ECAC Hockey) and Brown (1-10-0, 1-5-0 ECAC Hockey). The Crimson will travel to New Haven, Conn. on Friday for a 6 p.m. matchup and will head to Providence, R.I the next day for a 3 p.m. tilt. Both games will be broadcast on ESPN+.

What to Know

  • Harvard and Cornell are the only ECAC teams without a conference loss. Harvard stands at 5-0-0 while Cornell has posted a 5-0-1 record.
  • The Crimson is four points off first place in the league and one point off second.
  • Becca Gilmore is tied for third in scoring in conference games with 10 points.
  • Lindsay Reed is the only goalie in ECAC Hockey with a 1.000 win percentage in conference play. 

At the Helm
One of the most well-known coaches in college hockey, Katey Stone, enters her 25th season as The Landry Family Head Coach for Harvard Women's Ice Hockey. Throughout her storied career, Stone has coached 13 Olympians, 24 All-America selections, six Patty Kazmaier winners and has accumulated a 476-239-53 overall record, prior to the 2019-20 season.
