No. 10/10 Women’s Hockey to Face No. 3/3 Northeastern in Beanpot Semifinal

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard women's hockey team (12-8-1, 11-4-1 ECAC Hockey) is slated to face No. 3/3 Northeastern (23-3-1, 20-2-0 Hockey East) in the Beanpot semifinal on Tuesday, Feb. 4. Game time is set for 5 p.m. at Walter Brown Arena on the campus of Boston University. Locally, the game will be streamed on NESNplus while fans outside New England can view the matchup on CBS All Access. In Canada, TSN will pick up the semifinal matchups.

What to Know

  • Harvard has won 14 Beanpot titles.
  • Last year, the Crimson upset No. 7/7 Boston College in the semifinal to advance to its 29th title game.
  • Harvard is 14-18-1 against Northeastern in Beanpot games and 22-35-3 all time.
  • The last time the Crimson took on the Huskies was the 2017-18 season when Harvard took a 4-3 victory in the Beanpot consolation match.

At the Helm
One of the most well-known coaches in college hockey, Katey Stone, enters her 25th season as The Landry Family Head Coach for Harvard Women's Ice Hockey. Throughout her storied career, Stone has coached 13 Olympians, 24 All-America selections, six Patty Kazmaier winners and has accumulated a 476-239-53 overall record, prior to the 2019-20 season.
