CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – After helping the Crimson to two Ivy League road wins last week, freshman Julia Glynn of the Harvard women’s lacrosse team has been tabbed Ivy League Co-Offensive Player of the Week. Glynn shares the honor with Cornell’s Emily Tripodi.
Glynn, a midfielder from Manhasset, N.Y., led Harvard with an eight-point effort last week, helping the Crimson knock off Dartmouth and Brown on the road. Harvard improved to 3-1 in the Ivy League in the process.
In the 9-8 at Dartmouth April 1, Glynn assisted on two goals and added a goal, while also leading the way with five ground balls and three caused turnovers.
Glynn tallied three goals and added two assists for a five-point effort in the 9-7 win at Brown April 4. Glynn gave Harvard an 8-6 lead with 6:49 left.
Harvard will visit No. 4 Boston College Tuesday, April 7. Opening draw is slated for 4 p.m.
