Ivy League Releases 2017 Women’s Lacrosse Preseason Poll

PRINCETON, N.J. – On Friday, Feb. 10, the Ivy League announced the results of its inaugural Women's Lacrosse Media Poll with Harvard being slotted fourth.

The Crimson received 83 points, trailing Princeton (120), Penn (111) and Cornell (97). The Tigers received nine first-place votes, while Penn tallied five and Cornell two. The remainder of the poll in order: Dartmouth (56), Yale (48), Columbia (34) and Brown (27).

Harvard finished fourth in the Ivy League standings a year ago after posting a 9-7 overall record and a 4-3 mark in the Ancient Eight. Harvard will open the 2017 campaign a week from Saturday, visiting New Hampshire, Feb. 18, at 1 p.m.
