Women's Lacrosse Announces Eight Incoming Freshmen in Class of 2021

 Lisa Miller, the Carole Kleinfelder Head Coach for Harvard Women's Lacrosse, announced the addition of eight members to the team as the class of 2021.

"We welcome another fantastic group of young women to campus this fall and look forward to immersing them in a culture that expects excellence in the classroom and on the playing field," Miller said. "Our program continues to be within striking distance of the elite teams in our sport and the class of 2021 will play a key role in our pursuit of an Ivy title and NCAA tournament berth. Coach McGovern, Coach Pisano, and I are excited about their coachability, work ethic, and commitment to the team and many are expected to compete for significant playing time immediately."

Four of the incoming freshman hail from New York, with two others coming from Massachusetts, one from Pennsylvania and one native of Virginia rounding out the class.

Harvard is coming off an 8-8 season that saw it finish fourth in the Ivy League with a 4-3 mark. The Crimson earned a spot in the Ivy League tournament for the sixth-straight season, but fell to nationally-ranked Cornell in the semifinals, 16-11.
