Women's Lacrosse Announces 2018 Schedule

Women's lacrosse will open the 2018 campaign on Feb. 17 at home against New Hampshire.

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The women's lacrosse team has announced its 2018 schedule, starting the season at home for the first time since 2015. The 2018 slate includes 15 games, with six of them being played at home.

The season kicks off at home against University of New Hampshire on Feb. 17.  The Crimson then treks cross-country for a three game road swing, starting at Stanford on Feb. 23 then continuing to UC Davis on Feb. 25.

The road stretch concludes against rival Yale on March 3, before Harvard travels home to play Bryant on March 10.

On March 16, during the spring recess, Harvard will travel to the US Lacrosse Headquarters in Maryland to compete against Syracuse. Harvard will continue non-conference play with a March 21 game against Massachusetts followed by an Ivy-League matchup against Columbia on March 25.   

The Crimson returns home to take on Dartmouth on March 31. Then, the team will have a mid-week out of conference matchup against Boston University on April 4.

The team will play Ancient Eight opponent Princeton in Cambridge on April 7 before traveling to UMass Lowell for their final out of conference matchup of the season on April 11.

Harvard will finish their home slate with a game against Brown on April 14. The regular season will come to a close with games at Penn on April 21 and back home against Cornell (Alumnae Day) on April 28.

Over Memorial Day weekend, Harvard will serve as the hosts of the NCAA Lacrosse Championships for the second-consecutive season at Gillette Stadium.

The Crimson finished the 2017 campaign with an 8-8 record (4-3 Ivy League) and earned an Ivy League Tournament berth for the fourth straight season.
