CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard women's lacrosse announced its 2020 schedule today (Dec. 9). The Crimson will play nine home games and six road contests, and will begin Ivy League play on Feb. 29 with a home game against Cornell. Harvard will play five games against teams that qualified for the 2019 NCAA Tournament.
The Crimson will open the 2020 slate at home against Niagara on Feb. 16. Harvard will head to Colorado for games against the University of Colorado (Feb. 21) and Denver (Feb. 23), both of which were NCAA qualifiers last season.
After the Ivy opener against the Big Red on Feb. 29 at 1 p.m., the Crimson will kick off a busy March (seven games) with a road game at Boston University on March 4, followed by three straight non-conference home games against Villanova (March 7), New Hampshire (March 11) and Binghamton (March 14).
Harvard travels to rival Yale on March 21 before closing out the month with home games against Merrimack (March 23) and Dartmouth (March 29).
In April, the Crimson will head to Columbia for an April 5th contest in New York City, which will be followed by games at home against Princeton (April 11) and Brown (April 18). Harvard will honor its eight seniors after its final home game of the year against the Bears. The Crimson will close out the regular season on the road at Penn on April 26.
