LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Harvard wrestling team began EIWA action with a 21-10 loss to Bucknell on Friday night.
Junior Nolan Hellickson (125) started the evening out right for the Crimson, grabbing three points with a convincing 6-0 shut-out against Geo Barzona. On the way to his 12th win of the season, Hellickson accumulated over a minute of riding time to give Harvard the 3-0 lead. However, Bucknell answered with a 3-1 sudden victory decision by David Campbell over Samuel Goldman (133).
Sophomore A.J. Jaffe gave No. 14 Tyler Smith a battle with a takedown early in the match, but Smith responded scoring eight unanswered points for the 8-2 decision. Fellow sophomore Hunter Ladnier (149) came out strong against Bucknell's Matthew Kolonia and re-gained the lead for the Crimson with the 12-3 major decision.
With the one-point, 7-6, advantage, freshman Brock Wilson (157) his tenacity against Andrew Millsap to pick up the 3-0 decision and give Harvard the 10-6 lead. But the Bison's heavier weight classes were able to pull out the next five bouts and hold on for victory.

Harvard returns to the mats tomorrow afternoon in Lancaster, Pa. against Franklin & Marshall at 2 p.m. The dual will be broadcast by Franklin & Marshall.
