Women’s Rugby Earns No. 4 National Ranking

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The National Intercollegiate Rugby Association (NIRA) coaches released their first public poll this week, with Harvard women's rugby earning a program-best No. 4 ranking.

The Crimson is currently 3-0-1 this season, having most recently beaten No. 9 Brown, 84-8. Additionally, the Crimson has earned wins over No. 10 West Chester, 61-0, and Mt. St. Mary's, 130-0, and also tied No. 5 Army, 33-33.

Sophomore Delia Hellander and freshman Milan Roberts currently lead the Crimson with seven tries each through four games, followed closely by sophomore Dominique Cantave who has tallied six. Junior Jenny Kronish has been leading the way in conversion kicks, totaling 21.

Harvard continues action this weekend, hosting No. 1 Dartmouth on Saturday, Oct. 7 at 1 p.m. The game is at Roberto A. Mignone Field and will air on the Ivy League Network.
