Women’s Rugby Announces 2018 Fall Slate

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Returning to action in 15s competition, Harvard women's rugby has revealed its 2018 fall schedule. The slate features four home match-ups at Mignone Field, which will be broadcast on ESPN+.

Harvard opens the season Sept. 1 at Quinnipiac for the first of two meetings, and welcomes Army in its home opener Sept. 8. The Crimson treks to Ivy rival Dartmouth Sept. 22 in a rematch of last season's Ivy Championship game.

The Crimson hosts Quinnipiac in a return trip Oct. 6, which kicks off a series of three-straight regular season games at home. Notre Dame College makes the trip to Mignone Field Oct. 13, while Brown visits Cambridge Oct. 20.

The 2018 Ivy League Championships will be hosted Oct. 27 at the campus of the top seed, where the Crimson will look for its first 15s tournament title since 2013. The national quarterfinals are set for Nov. 10, while the NIRA national championships will be held Nov. 17 at Dartmouth.

Harvard posted a 21-14-1 record across the 15s and 7s seasons in 2017-18, including a 4-3-1 mark during the fall. The Crimson made appearances in the Ivy Tournament championship and the NIRA national semifinals.

All of Harvard's home games as well as the entire Ivy League schedule will be available across a variety of ESPN platforms including ESPN+. Details to where each event will air will be available at a later date. To learn more about the Ivy League's agreement with ESPN, click here.
