Women’s Rugby Readies for Matinee at Dartmouth

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.– The Harvard women's rugby team travels north to Ivy League rival Dartmouth on Saturday Sept. 22. The matchup of the undefeated is set to broadcast on ESPN+ at 11:30 a.m.

What to Know

  • The Crimson started the season 2-0 with a win against three-time reigning champions Quinnipiac and perennial powerhouse Army West Point.
  • Senior Jenny Kronish was named FloRugby Player of the Week after her 18-point performance, which led the Crimson to victory against Army West Point. 
  • Freshman Sofie Fella and will look to continue her early season success after scoring tries in both games this season. She's tied for the team lead in tries with Jenny Kronish with two.
  • Against Dartmouth, the Crimson has had success in 7s, play winning the last two of three, but will look to record a 15s win for the first time since Oct. 11, 2014.

At the Helm
Mel Denham returns for her second season with the women's rugby team. In her inaugural season, she posted a 21-14-1 record across the 15s and 7s seasons. 

Next Up
The Crimson will have a week off before beginning its three game homestand on Oct. 6 against Quinnipiac.
