CAMBRIDGE, Mass.- First-year women's rugby player Brogan Mior was named to Canada's U-18 National Team last week for their winter event in Chula Vista, Calif. The event will take place from Dec. 26-30.

Mior joins 22 other athletes who were selected to the national team. Canada will play its first game against USA on Dec. 28 at 6 p.m. and again against USA on Dec. 30 for its second game.

The first-year is no stranger to Canada's national team as she was a member of the nation's U-18 7s and U-20 15s teams in 2018.

In her first season with the Crimson, Mior lead the team in scoring as she tabbed six tries, 17 conversions and one penalty kick. She tallied 67 total points and helped Harvard win its first NIRA National Championship as a varsity program. She was also named MVP of the NIRA National Championship.
