PRINCETON, N.J. – Earning accolades from the conference office after a dominant week, senior Margaret Purce has been named the Ivy League Co-Player of the Week.
Purce netted four goals on the week against Army, Central Connecticut State and Louisville, including two scores against the Blue Devils Sept. 1. Purce has found the back of the net in three-consecutive games, and is averaging one goal per game to start the 2016 campaign. With 34 career goals, Purce moved into fifth place on the Crimson's career goals list.
The weekly honor is the sixth of Purce's career. Harvard continues its 2016 season with road clashes at Boston College Sept. 7 and Providence Sept. 11.
