The award is the first of Zlatic's career (Gil Talbot).
PRINCETON, N.J. – Helping Harvard move its unbeaten streak to nine games, senior Karly Zlatic of the women's soccer team has been selected as the Ivy League Player of the Week for Oct. 17-23, as announced by the league office on Monday.
Zlatic netted the game-winning goal for the Crimson in a 1-0 shutout of Princeton, helping Harvard move to 3-0-2 in Ivy League play. The La Jolla, California native took advantage of a poor clearance by the Tigers, heading the ball across the goal line from 15 yards. The score was her third of the season and seventh of her career.
The Crimson controls its own destiny with two games remaining in conference play, and travels to Dartmouth on Saturday, Oct. 29 for an 11 a.m. kickoff.
