Mohammadi, Liedel Earn CoSIDA Academic All-District Recognition

GREENWOOD, Ind. – Earning academic honors after strong seasons on the field, senior Leah Mohammadi and sophomore Linda Liedel have been honored with CoSIDA Academic All-District awards. The academic all-district award is the third in a row for Mohammadi, while Liedel picks up her first.

Named to the All-Ivy League first team earlier this week, Mohammadi led the Crimson with seven goals and 17 points in 2018. A team captain and the Ivy League Player of the Week on Oct. 15, Mohammadi ranked third in the conference in points per game, and fourth with seven goals. The Upland, California native has a concentration in government.

Liedel was a staple along the Crimson back line, helping Harvard to six shutouts and a 4-2-1 record in Ivy League play. The Mainz, Germany native concentrates in psychology, and has four career points. She was one of two Harvard players this season to start all of her appearances.

With the all-district academic selection, both players are eligible for the CoSIDA Academic All-America award to be announced later this month.
