Women’s Soccer Picked Third in Ivy League Preseason Poll

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – With the start of the 2019 season just nine days away, the Ivy League announced that Harvard women's soccer was picked third in its preseason media poll. The Crimson tallied 80 points, including one first-place vote.

The Crimson finished third in the conference in 2018, which including an exciting finish to the campaign with five teams separated by only four points. Harvard went 4-2-1 in Ivy play, and finished with a .500 or better overall record for the 12th-straight season.

Harvard opens its 2019 season at Northeastern in a regionally televised game on NESN Aug. 30 at 5:30 p.m. The program is looking for its seventh Ivy League championship in the last 12 years this season.
