KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Succeeding in all facets of the student-athlete experience, Harvard women's soccer has been named a 2018-19 recipient of the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award.
The award is the Crimson's fourth in a row, and the ninth in the past 10 years. The program is one of 644 women's collegiate teams across the country to earn the award, and 989 total. Two players from the 2018-19 team – Leah Mohammadi and Linda Liedel – earned individual academic accolades, as they were named CoSIDA Academic All-District last November.
The Crimson's team GPA ranked in the top 10 percent of all collegiate teams that qualified for the honor. Harvard is off to a 7-2 start in 2019, including a 1-0 start to Ivy League play.
