Harvard won by a total game score of 27-0 for its second-straight 9-0 win (Zach Williamson).
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – No. 1 Harvard women's squash made quick work of St. Lawrence, sweeping the Saints and winning by a total game score of 27-0 at the Murr Center Squash Courts Monday afternoon.
Harvard (5-0, 2-0 Ivy League) earned its second-straight sweep and victory over St. Lawrence (2-8) after a one-year hiatus in the all-time series.
Alyssa Mehta earned her first-career victory at the No. 1 position, while Katherine Tutrone earned her first win at the No. 2 spot this season and Michelle Gemmell earned her second triumph at the No. 3 position.
Caroline Monrad improved to 3-0 on the season with a sweep at the No. 7 spot and Keegan Mendez claimed her first win at the No. 8 spot. Allie Sperry cruised to her first win of the season in her return to the court after missing the 2014-15 season while playing at the No. 9 spot to round out the victories for the Crimson.
Harvard will return to the Murr Center Squash Courts to host Franklin & Marshall Jan. 24 at 2 p.m. to wrap up its four-game homestand.
