ITAHCA, N.Y. - No. 1 women's squash earned its second-straight 9-0 sweep on the weekend, taking down No. 8 Cornell at the Belkin International Squash Courts Sunday afternoon.
Harvard (8-0, 5-0 Ivy League) was dominant all-around, taking all but one game from Cornell (8-5, 2-3 Ivy League) to complete its New York road sweep.
Sabrina Sobhy and Alyssa Mehta secured sweeps at the respective No. 1 and No. 3 positions, for their fifth and sixth wins of the season. Alyssa Mehta also notched her sixth triumph with a win at the No. 2 spot.
Katherine Tutrone tallied her fifth triumph of the season, while Michelle Gemmell continued to stay undefeated with her seventh win and Sue Ann Yong secured her second-straight victory at the No. 6 spot.
Saumya Karki and Sophie Mehta continued to boast undefeated marks with wins at the respective No. 7 and No. 9 positions. Dileas MacGowan earned her second-straight win at the No. 8 spot for her sixth triumph of the season.
Harvard will host its final match of the season Feb. 12 against Brown at 6 p.m.
