NEW HAVEN, Conn. – No. 1 women's squash captured its 20th Ivy League championship in program history, earning a 9-0 sweep at No. 5 Yale to claim the outright title Sunday afternoon at the Brady Squash Center.
Harvard (10-0, 7-0 Ivy League) finished the Ivy League season with an undefeated mark for the 18th time in program history to capture its fourth title in the past seven seasons. The 20th title marks the most in Ancient Eight history, besting Princeton by 14 titles.
The Crimson earned its sixth sweep in conference play this season, taking all but one game against Yale (11-4, 4-3 Ivy League).
Sabrina Sobhy completed her perfect season in Ancient Eight play, earning her seventh win at the No. 1 position.
Harvard will have a week off before returning to New Haven for the CSA Team National Championship Feb. 26-28.
