PRINCETON, N.J. – The No. 3 Harvard women's squash team rolled past top-ranked Princeton, 9-0, Saturday afternoon.
At the top of the order, senior Sabrina Sobhy dominated Hiu Lam Lui, 11-8, 11-5, 11-8. Junior Gina Kennedy followed suit as the team's No. 2, defeating Raneem El Torky 11-5, 11-8, 11-5. Classmate Amelia Henley rounded out the top-three, besting Elle Ruggiero, 11-6, 11-9, 11-7.
Senior Sophie Mehta made quick work of her opponent Morgan Steelman, 11-4, 11-6, 11-8. Despite dropping the first game, senior Kayley Leonard answered back, capturing three straight games and defeating Grace Doyle, 10-12, 11-3, 11-4, 11-3.
- The Crimson extends its unbeaten streak to 58 games, dating back to the 2014-15 season (Jan. 12).
- Harvard adds to its all-time program record against Princeton, 35-21.
- Sobhy remains untouched at the team's top spot, earning her sixth-straight win.
- Sophomore Hannah Craig battled fifth game, getting the best of her opponent, Isabel Hirshberg, 11-5, 11-4, 7-11, 8-11, 11-7.
The Crimson look to continue its unbeaten season against No. 5 Penn Sunday at 1 p.m. The match will be at Drexel University and not be broadcast.
