Pfeifer, Thompson Compete in Day Two Finals of Zone Diving Championships

RESULTS

CHRISTIANSBURG, Va. – For the second day in a row, a pair of Harvard divers reached the finals of the NCAA Zone A Diving Championships. Sophomore Mikaela Thompson finished in the top 10 in the women's one-meter event, while David Pfeifer qualified for the finals in the men's three-meter.

One day after placing 12th on the three-meter board, Thompson put on another impressive performance on the one-meter. The sophomore tallied a final score of 544.70, good for eighth overall.

Pfeifer excelled on the three-meter board Tuesday, qualifying for the finals in 14th after the prelims and concluded the meet in 16th overall. Pfeifer registered a final score of 624.35.

The Zone A Championships wrap up Wednesday with junior Jing Leung competing on the platform. She is the defending Zone champion in the event.
