TEMPE, Ariz. – After posting a 14-9 record, including a 6-1 mark against Ivy League opponents, Harvard women's tennis was recognized on the 2018 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team.
To qualify for the ITA All-Academic Team, the student-athletes must maintain a cumulative team grade point average of 3.2 or above on a 4.0 scale, with each eligible player needing to compete in at least one varsity match. Individually, a 3.5 GPA and varsity letter are required to be an ITA Scholar-Athlete.
Natasha Gonzalez was honored for the second straight year and won 20 singles matches for the Crimson. Neha Gupta, who recorded an unblemished 11-0 mark in the fall season, finished the academic year with a 17-7 singles record.
First doubles partners Annika Ringblom and Anna Li tallied a 15-10 doubles record, while Irene Lu posted 16 singles victories and Lexi Milunovich registered 14 wins. Isabel Jasper and Jenna Moustafa rounded out the eight ITA honorees with five singles victories in 2017-18.
