CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard women's tennis team (1-0) preps for a weekend home slate of three matches including Miami (Ohio) (0-2) on Jan. 25 at 3 p.m., and a Sunday doubleheader against Fordham (0-0) and Marist (1-0), beginning at 10 a.m. All matches will be broadcast on ESPN+.
What to Know:
- Harvard has won both matchups in the all-time series against Marist with the last coming on March 10, 2018 (7-0).
- The Crimson has never faced-off in dual play against Miami (Ohio) or Fordham.
- Fordham last visited the Murr Center Courts in October during the Harvard Fall Scramble. The Crimson earned six match victories on day one of the tournament.
- The team opened the season at home with a 7-0 victory over Rhode Island on Tuesday.
Leading the Way:
Traci Green, the Sheila Kelly Palandjian Head Coach for Harvard Women's Tennis, is in her 12th season and is the second-winningest coach in Crimson women's tennis history. Last season, she guided Harvard to a 14-9 overall record, including a 6-1 Ivy League record.
The Crimson continues its six-match home stretch with a Friday night Feb. 1 matchup against Boston College at 7 p.m., followed by a Sunday morning dual against Massachusetts at 9:30 a.m. Both matches will be broadcast on ESPN+.
