CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard women's volleyball team (11-6, 6-2 Ivy) tallied another win in the Ivy column with a sweep of Dartmouth (7-10, 3-5 Ivy) on Friday night. The match was neck and neck with the Crimson taking sets one, two and three by no more than a three-point margin.
With the win, Harvard hangs onto its No. 2 spot in the Ivy League, tied with Princeton and one match off Ivy leader Yale.
Leading the Crimson against the Big Green was Grace Roberts Burbank who racked up 17 kills and a .300 hitting percentage in the three-set affair. Erin McCarthy aided her teammates with 40 assists and Anna Uhr was again a staple on defense with 16 digs.
The Crimson will resume its two-match slate with a weekend road swing against Columbia and Cornell next Friday and Saturday, Oct. 27-28.
