Women’s Volleyball Receives 10th Straight AVCA Team Academic Award

LEXINGTON, Ky. – For the 10th straight year, Harvard women's volleyball has been recognized for its work in the classroom with the American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic Award.

The award, which was initiated in the 1992-93 academic year, honors collegiate and high school volleyball teams that displayed excellence in the classroom during the school year by maintaining at least a 3.30 cumulative team grade-point average on a 4.0 scale.

Harvard finished the 2017 season with a 13-10 overall record, boasting an 8-6 mark in conference play. The Crimson returns 11 letterwinners from its 2017 campaign, including All-Ivy selections Christina Cornelius, Maclaine Fields and Grace Roberts Burbank.
