PRINCETON, N.J. – Earning her first All-Ivy League distinction of her career, Mindie Mabry of the Harvard women's volleyball team was named to the All-Ivy League Honorable Mention Team, as announced by the league this afternoon.
The junior outside hitter consistently guided the Crimson attack this season, leading the team in kills with 222 and averaging 2.67 per set. Dominant from the service line, Mabry recorded 15 aces this year to rank fourth on the team. Mabry emerged as an offensive and defensive staple, finishing second on the team in digs per set with 2.53.
Appearing in 22 matches and 19 starts for the Crimson during the season, Mabry met or exceeded three career highs. Shattering her career high in kills with 24 against Brown, Mabry recorded double-digit kills in nine matches. Additionally, Mabry completed the season with nine matches in double figure digs to register four double-doubles. Mabry surpassed over 500 career kills and 400 career digs at the conclusion of the 2019 season.
