Women's Water Polo Announces 2019 Slate

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.- Ted Minnis, The Friends of Water Polo Head Coach, and the women's water polo team have announced the 2019 season lineup. All seven home contests, including each game of the Harvard Invite, will be broadcasted on ESPN+.

Rolling ito the new year, the Harvard women's water polo team kicks off the 2019 season Jan. 27 with a doubleheader facing Iona and Villanova. The Crimson continues its campaign at the Bruno Classic hosted by Brown Feb. 2-3 with contests against Wagner, Siena and LaSalle.

The road swing continues as the Crimson travels to Bucknell University to take part in the Bison Invite, Feb. 9-10, competing agaisnt Gannon, Salem, Siena and Wagner efore looking toward the conference opener.

Harvard is set to begin CWPA play at home on March 1, facing Ivy foe Brown before welcoming Princeton on March 2. Blodgett Pool continues to see action throuhgout the weekend as the Crimson hosts the Harvard Invite, tacking on matchups against California Baptist on Mach 2 and UC Davis to close out the tournament, March 3.

Harvard will utilize the univeristy's spring break to play a myriad of road games March 16-23, including contests at UC Davis, Santa Clara, Fresno State, San Jose State and Stanford. The Crimson will make a pit stop in Washington D.C. on its way back to Cambridge, taking St. Francis, George Washington and Bucknell March 30-31.

Returning to Blodgett Pool for a final three-game hoe stand, Harvard hosts a pair of games April 6 against George Washington and Bucknell before celbrating senior day on April 7 after the St. Francis contest. Harvard will wrap up the regular season on April 13 with a neutral site matchup against Michigain.
