Tuntivate Finishes Fourth in Asian Games 10,000m


JAKARTA, Indonesia – Senior distance runner Kieran Tuntivate competed in the 2018 Asian Games in Indonesia, finishing in fourth place with a time of 30:29.04.

"This was a great international debut for Kieran, particularly as he is in the middle of his preparation for the upcoming cross-country season," said, Jason Saretsky, The William W. "Bill" McCurdy Director of Track and Field/Cross Country. "The past year has been a wonderful opportunity for him to grow and develop and we are so excited for him to return to campus this Fall."

A native of Wilmington, Del., Tuntivate also has Thai citizenship to be able to compete for the southeastern Asian country.

Tuntivate earned USTFCCCA All-Region honors after finishing 23rd at the cross-country Northeast Regional and USTFCCCA All-Academic honors in 2016.
