Cambridge, Mass. – With a strong showing at the Pre-Nationals Invitational, the men's and women's cross-country teams are moving up in the USTFCCCA Northeast Regional ranking. The men's team moved up to six spots into second and the women's team moved up five spots into fifth.

Last week, the men were in eighth and the women were in 10th. The men's team is also receiving votes in the national rankings for the first time since week seven of the 2013 season.

The men's team is led by senior Kieran Tuntivate and juniors Hugo Milner and Will Battershill. All three have been Harvard's top three finishers at each race they've competed in this season. Tuntivate led the Crimson to a third-place finish at the Roy Griak Invitational, winning the race.

The women's team is led by junior Lisa Tertsch and sophomore Abbe Goldstein who helped lead the Crimson to a fourth-place finish at the Roy Griak Invitational and a 15th place finish at the Pre-Nationals Invitational. In her season debut, Tertsch crossed the finish line in 21st place against some of the top Division I talent in the country.
