PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Senior co-captain J.P.
O'Connor picked up his team leading 23rd win of the season
and his third pin of the season to lead the Harvard Wrestling team
in a 33-12 loss to Brown Saturday afternoon.
O'Connor was one of three winners for the Crimson on the
day. Freshman Steven Keith defeated Greg Einfrank at 125 pounds,
10-5, to improve to 13-7 overall. O'Connor, the top-ranked
157 pounder, is unbeaten on the season at 23-0 after pinning Max
Lewin in 29 seconds. He has 120 career victories, 12 shy of the
program record.
Senior co-captain Louis Caputo earned a 6-0 victory at 184 pounds
over Bran Crudden. With the win, Caputo improves to 16-2 on the
season and is just one win behind O'Connor on the all-time
wins list at Harvard.
Harvard (2-11-1, 0-3) hosts Lehigh in its final home dual match of
the season. The Crimson will recognize its two seniors –
Caputo and O'Connor prior to the start of the meet.
