CAMBRIDGE, Mass – The Harvard women's rugby team defeated Cornell, 75-0, today at Cumnock Turf.
"I am happy with the improvements this very young team has made," said head coach Sue Parker. "I am excited to see what another week of hard work will allow us to do against Princeton."
Freshman Tessa Muss scored two tries in her debut for the Crimson.
On the defensive side of the ball, Anabiet Abasi was strong for all 80 minutes leading the Crimson to its second consecutive shutout.
Senior Taz Ramirez was once again a stand out for Harvard from the scrum-half position, acting as the catalyst for the Crimson 75-point outburst.
The Crimson will be on the road next weekend taking on Princeton Saturday, Oct. 4 at noon.
