CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Competing at the Riviera/ITA Women's All-American Championships in Pacific Palisades, California, Harvard women's tennis' tandem of Monica Lin and Annika Ringblom advanced to the round of eight in the doubles pre-qualifying stage.
The duo knocked out their No. 2 seed opponents from Georgia in the first round with a convincing 8-2 victory. The win marks the second-straight year a Harvard doubles team has knocked out a seeded opponent in the first round of the tournament. The pair continued to the round of eight to face Virginia's Maci Epstein and Marie Faure, but lost a close match 8-6.
Lin also competed in the singles bracket, but could not defeat her opponent from Texas Tech, and dropped a 6-2, 6-1 match.
