PRINCETON, N.J.  – Harvard women's rugby participated in the 2015 Ivy 7's Rugby Championship Saturday afternoon, hosted by Princeton. The Crimson went 1-3 on the day, taking fourth place.

The first game of the day saw Harvard take on the newest Ivy League varsity squad, Dartmouth. The Crimson played well, but eventually fell, 26-14. Lydia Burns was able to score late in the game for her first try of the day.

Harvard moved on to take on club side Yale. Harvard dominated throughout, taking the match 22-0. Tessa Muss led the way, scoring two of the Crimson's four tries. Mariah Turner and Burns were also able to find the endzone.

With the win, the Crimson moved on to face host Princeton in the second round. The match was tight early with freshman Dalton Youngblood scoring to bring the score to 7-5 in favor of the Tigers. Princeton was able to wrestle control of the game, winning out 26-5.

In the third-place game, the Crimson met the Big Green for the second time on the day. Harvard's offense was not able to get going in the match, falling 15-0 and leaving New Jersey with a fourth-place finish.

Harvard is back in action Saturday, April 25 at the Dartmouth 7's tournament.
