CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – No. 14 Harvard-Radcliffe heavyweight crew fell to No 10 Yale Saturday morning on the Charles River in a gusty cross headwind.  

The varsity eight crossed in 7:06.6, seven seconds off the pace of the Bulldogs (6:59.0). The second varsity registered the closest race of the day, dropping by a three-second margin to Yale. The 2V crossed in 7:05.7, as Yale was just ahead in 7:02.0.

The varsity four boat was open water behind Yale with a time of 8:13.2. The B and C varsity four boats also fell to Yale by 14-plus seconds. The third varsity crossed in 7:42.3.  

The Black and White will be back in action May 17 for the Ivy League Championships in Camden, New Jersey.
