WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – No. 57 Harvard women's tennis dropped a 5-2 decision to No. 42 William & Mary Saturday afternoon at the McCormack-Nagelsen Tennis Center.
The Crimson falls to 5-5 overall, while the Tribe improves to 7-4 on the season.
William & Mary blanked Harvard in the doubles contests to take the first point of the match. The Crimson clinched its first point of the day as Annika Ringblom defeated Julia Casselbury in two sets with scores of, 7-5, 6-2. Sabrina Xiong was the only other player in Crimson to record a victory on the day, topping Maria Groener, 6-2, 7-5.
Harvard faces Old Dominion Sunday afternoon for an 11 a.m. match at the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center.
