CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The No. 58 Harvard womenNo. 's tennis team (12-10, 2-4 Ivy) lost to No. 72 Brown (14-10, 2-4 Ivy), 4-3, at the Beren Tennis Center on Sunday afternoon.
In doubles action, the Crimson's No. 3 pairing of Isabel Jasper and Nikki Kallenberg won the only match with a score of 6-3. Brown clinched the first point of the match early as its No. 1 and No. 2 doubles pairs claimed victory.
Three Harvard players won singles matches on the day including Erica Oosterhout in the No. 3 spot, Annika Ringblom in the No. 4 position and Amy He as the No. 6 singles player. Oosterhout topped Hannah Camhi with set scores of 6-4, 6-3, while Ringblom won against Maddie Stearns, 7-5, 6-4. He defeated Ammu Mandalap who put up a fight with scores of 7-6, 6-2.
The Crimson are back in action on Saturday, April 23 as it takes on No. 54 Dartmouth for a 2 p.m. match.
