No. 63 Women's Tennis Falls to No. 74 Penn After Late Comeback, 4-3

Oosterhout won one of the Crimson's three singles victories (Zack Williamson).

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The No. 63 Harvard women's tennis team (10-9, 0-3 Ivy) dropped its third Ivy League contest to No. 74 Penn (9-7, 2-2 Ivy), 4-3, after a late comeback in singles play. 

The Quakers earned the doubles point after surpassing the Crimson's pairings of June Lee and Erica Oosterhout in the No. 2 position and Isabel Jasper and Nikki Kallenberg in the No. 3 spot. 

Harvard took control of three singles sets as Nikki Kallenberg defeated Sonya Latycheva, 6-4, 6-2, in the No. 2 position, while Erica Oosterhout topped Ria Vaidya in the No. 3 spot with set scores of 6-1, 6-2. Amy He tallied the Crimson's last singles point easily beating the Quakers' Luba Vazhenina, 6-3, 6-0, as the No. 6 singles match.

Harvard faces No. 61 Princeton tomorrow in New Jersey for a 1 p.m. matchup.
