CAMBRIDGE, Mass.- The No. 5 Harvard women's fencing squad looks to capture its 12th Beanpot Championship as the team travels down the river to Brandeis on Feb. 13. Fencing action begins at 6 p.m. against Boston College before moving onto MIT and concluding with host Brandeis.

After completing Ivy League championship play this past weekend, the women collected a 3-3 record with victories over Yale, Brown and Cornell. Additionally, first-year Elizabeth Tartakovsky was named first-team All-Ivy, while Cindy Gao, Cynthia Liu and Veronica Czyzewski were tabbed second-team.

- First-year Elizabeth Tartakovsky collected the title Individual Ivy Champion for sabre over the weekend at the Ivy Championships and earned All-Ivy first-team. On the year, she holds a 28-6 record with a +76-touch differential.
- The women have won the past 11 Beanpot championship since its inauguration in 2007.
- In foil last weekend, Cynthia Liu and Natalie Yang led the charge for the Crimson posting a 10-5 and 11-6 record respectively.
- Second- team All-Ivy recipient, Cindy Gao moves to 16-11 on the season with a +30-touch differential in epee.
