CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard women's tennis will continue it's fall schedule this weekend with the Harvard Fall Classic. The Crimson is coming off a successful run at the Columbia Invitational, where it took home two tournament wins.
Harvard will welcome student-athletes from Boston College, Boston University, Brown, Buffalo, Dartmouth and Rhode Island to Cambridge for the invitational.

What to Know
- First-year Mihaela Marculescu went 3-0 in singles play at the Columbia invitational, winning the Manhattan Draw.
- The duo of Jenna Freidel/Rachel Lim placed first in the Doubles A draw last weekend, outscoring opponents 18-10 in three matches.
- The whole team is expected to play at least one match over the three-day tournament.
- This will be the first meeting between Buffalo and Harvard. The Crimson is leading the all-time series versus all other teams in the tournament.
- Seniors Lexi Milunovich and Natasha Gonzalez have been named the captains for the 2019-20 season.
Leading the Way
Traci Green, the Sheila Kelly Palandjian Head Coach for Harvard Women's Tennis, begins her 13th season at the helm of the Crimson. Green returns a veteran team that played a pivotal role in helping Harvard to a 17-win season and a second-place finish in the Ivy League a year ago. Currently at 140 wins in her career, Green has the second most wins in team history for a head coach.
Next Up
The Crimson will have two weeks of practice before a pair of ITA events. The All-American Championship qualifiers will be held at the University of Tulsa from Oct. 5-8. The main draw will start Oct. 9th and run through the 13th. The ITA Regional Championships follow on Oct. 17-22 at Army, West Point.
