CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Under new NCAA legislation this year, eight Harvard student-athletes were among those designated as "elite" by the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee and other national governing bodies, a recognition that identifies potential U.S. Olympians in 2021.
The eight potential Olympians will be allowed to have travel expenses paid for, and will be able to spend more time working with coaches in preparation for the 2021 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.
