HANOVER, NH. – Senior
Emma Kearney scored two tries as the Harvard women's rugby team fell to Dartmouth (6-0) by a score of 45-31, to move to 5-1 on the season.
The Crimson trailed for the first time this season, as Dartmouth got out to a 26-0 lead in the first half. The Big Green capitalized on a stretch where the Crimson played with 14 for the first time this season after a sin bin sentence. Senior
Sabrina Kim pulled one back with a try for the Crimson just before the half, and Harvard trailed 26-5 at the break.
Dartmouth scored consecutive tries to begin the second half, just before the Crimson found its offensive groove. Junior

PK Vincze for a 60+ meter try to cut the deficit to 38-12, after a first-year
Chloe Headland conversion. Senior
Emma Kearney then broke free down the right sideline twice within 10 minutes for back-to-back tries, making it a 38-24 game with 22 minutes remaining. Dartmouth would add one more try as sophomore
Elianne Sacher notched one more for Harvard, and the Crimson ultimately fell 45-31 on the road.
