CAMBRIDGE, Mass.- The Harvard women's tennis team added on to its already impressive Fall season on Sunday afternoon with its performance against Boston University. The match took place at the Murr Center indoor tennis courts to avoid any issues with sunlight for the early evening matchup. 

First-year duo Rachel Arbitman and Holly Fischer picked up a 6-2 win in their doubles match, giving both their second career doubles wins. Arbitman also picked up a win in her singles match, defeating Boston University's Michelle Kleynerman in straight sets, 6-1, 6-1. 

Sophomore Iveta Daujotaite and first-year Maxi Duncan paired up for a doubles victory by a score of 6-4 to contribute to Harvard's two doubles wins. Maxi Duncan tallied on a singles victory of her own in two sets over BU's Victoria Carlsten, 6-1, 6-2. 

Senior Rachel Lim put on a great performance in her singles match, outlasting the Terrier's Sofia Kostirko in three sets, 6-4, 3-6, 10-6.

Sany Gawande kept her perfect singles match record in the Fall going, battling to another victory this evening over Steph Nguyen, 6-2, 6-7, 10-6. Gawande is 3-0 in her singles bouts this Fall.

First-year Angel You recorded her second career singles victory for Harvard with a straight sets match, 6-4, 6-4. 

Harvard Highlights

• After the singles victory, Gawande improved to 5-0 in her appearances this Fall, going 3-0 in her singles matches while winning both her doubles competitions as well.
• Sophomore Amy Huang earned her first career singles victory with a fantastic effort over BU's Sydney Sharma in three sets, 6-2, 6-7(4), 11-9.
