CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – First-year
Hannah Bebar scored the game-winning, golden goal in the 98
th minute to lift Harvard University women's soccer to a 3-2 victory over St. John's University in overtime on Sunday afternoon at Jordan Field.
After the Crimson (3-0-0) took a 2-0 lead at halftime, the visiting Red Storm (3-1-1) tied the game with two goals in the second half before Bebar – on her birthday – netted the decisive goal with just over two minutes left in the first overtime period.

th minute gave the Crimson a 2-0 lead inside of the first 30 minutes. The Red Storm scored in the 62
nd and 65
th minutes to force overtime prior to Bebar finding the back of the net at the 97:58 mark.
Harvard Highlights
- First-year Hannah Bebar netted her first career goal and first collegiate points on the game-winning goal. The Naperville, Ill., native carried the ball from the center of the pitch to the right side before lofting a shot over the keeper.
- Junior Angela Caloia scored her third goal of the season at the 4:13 mark. She has found the back of the net in each of the Crimson's first three games and leads the team with seven points on the season. Caloia has recorded nine career goals.
- Sophomore Taylor Fasnacht scored her first collegiate goal at 28:44. She now has three points on the season.
- First-year Áslaug Gunnlaugsdóttir posted a pair of assists on the afternoon for her first collegiate points. She notched assists on each of the Crimson's first two tallies.
- Junior Jordan Di Verniero and first-year Hildur Hákonardóttir added one assist apiece with each student-athlete registering her first point on the year.
- Sophomore goalkeeper Anna Karpenko made two saves and earned her first career win as a collegiate goalie.
- Senior Lara Schenk and first-years Jade Rose and Josefine Hasbo all played the full 98 minutes.
- Harvard led in shots (18-9), shots on goal (11-5), and corner kicks (8-6). In the first half, the Crimson held advantages in shots (10-2), shots on goal (6-1), and corners (3-0).
