Luke Rada each picked up individual bout wins, but Harvard University wrestling fell at No. 10 Cornell University, 35-6, on Saturday afternoon at the Friedman Wrestling Center in its Ivy League opener and first road dual of the year.

Competing in an Ivy dual for the first time since Feb. 22, 2020 – a span of 700 days – the Crimson (1-2, 1-2 EIWA, 0-1 Ivy) earned victories at 141 and 184 pounds while the host Big Red (5-2, 2-1 EIWA, 1-0 Ivy) fielded six nationally ranked wrestlers in its lineup as a part of its eight wins.
Harvard Highlights
- First-year Kenny Herrmann notched Harvard's first win of the day with a 7-1 decision over Cornell's Phillip Mooney at 141 pounds. Herrmann used a pair of takedowns in the first period and a takedown and an escape in the third period to earn the victory. He improved to 8-4 on the season and 2-0 in duals on the year.
- First-year Luke Rada registered a 5-3 decision over the Big Red's Ethan Hatcher at 184 pounds. Rada helped gain separation with an escape and takedown in the third period. He moved his record to 7-7 on the year with the win.
- Junior Trevor Tarsi pushed his Big Red opponent, dropping a narrow 6-4 decision in sudden victory to Hunter Richard at 157 pounds. Tarsi tallied an escape and takedown in the third period before scoring an escape in the third period to force overtime.Â
