Harvard Athletics Announces Updated Indoor Spectator Policy (Updated April 14)

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard Athletics welcomed back spectators to all of its indoor events on Tuesday, Jan. 25, when the Crimson men's ice hockey team played host to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Bright-Landry Hockey Center.

The following protocols will be enforced and go into effect on March 1:
  • Proof of vaccination remains in place for all spectators 12 and older by showing one's vaccine card, a photo of one's card or a digital vaccine record is required for all indoor athletic events. The vaccine card must show two dates for Moderna/Pfizer and one date for Johnson & Johnson.
  • Proof of vaccination will not be required for spectators under 12.
  • A negative COVID-19 test within the past 48 hours will be accepted instead of proof of vaccination for those who are not vaccinated.
  • Masks are not required for spectators, as of April 14.
  • Concessions are permitted at indoor venues.
Some additional reminders:
  • Fans should not come to the Harvard Athletics complex if they are not feeling well or have symptoms of COVID-19.
  • Additional hand sanitizer stations have been added throughout the athletics complex. Fans and staff are encouraged to use these, and wash their hands regularly, on gameday.
