ITHACA, N.Y. – The Harvard women's tennis team (5-2) fell to Princeton, 4-0, in the ECAC Championship match on Sunday Night at Cornell University.
Harvard opened the match by dropping the doubles point. The Crimson duo of
Iveta Daujotaite and
Angel You were able to earn a 6-0 win at No. 3 to tie the doubles point at one. The pair of
Maxi Duncan and
Mihaela Marculescu took the deciding match down to the last few points but were narrowly edged, 6-4.
The Crimson dropped its first three singles matches, which provided the final margin.
Mihaela Marculescu was leading Zoe Howard at the fourth position, 7-5, 0-1, but the match was not finished with the team outcome already decided.

The Crimson will travel to Evanston, Ill., for matchups with Northwestern on Feb. 20, and Miami (Ohio) on Feb. 21. Both matches will be at 12 p.m. EST.
